Terms of service

By accessing or using Doclane’s service you accept these terms of service. If you do not agree to the terms, do not use the service. The service is provided to business customers (B2B).
1. Acceptance of the terms
These terms constitute an agreement between Doclane, company reg. no. 35682821, Åbogade 15, 8200 Aarhus N (“Doclane”, “we”, “us”) and the customer who subscribes to or uses the service (“the customer”, “you”). The agreement is entered into when the customer signs up or starts using the service.
2. Data processing agreement
By using the service the customer accepts Doclane’s data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms. The data processing agreement governs how Doclane processes personal data on the customer’s behalf under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). See also our privacy policy and the list of sub-processors.
3. Description of the service
Doclane provides an AI driven platform that reads documents (orders, invoices, claims, product data and customer details) from email, a form or upload, and creates the corresponding records in the customer’s business system. Supported destinations are listed at all times on our website and currently include Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Uniconta and e-conomic. The features of the service are as described on our website and may be developed further over time.
4. The customer’s responsibilities
As a user of Doclane you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when entering into the agreement.
- Protect your login details and account access.
- Use the service in accordance with applicable law.
- Not misuse or attempt to circumvent the security measures of the service.
- Not use the service for unlawful or unauthorised purposes.
5. Prices and payment
The subscription is invoiced according to the price plan in force from time to time, see the pricing page. Prices are exclusive of VAT. Invoicing is in advance (monthly or annually depending on the plan chosen). Access to the service may be suspended in the event of non-payment. We may change prices with reasonable notice.
6. Intellectual property rights
All content, functionality and software in Doclane’s service, including text, graphics, logos and source code, belongs to Doclane and is protected by copyright, trademark law and other intellectual property rights. The customer’s own data and documents remain the property of the customer.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Doclane is not liable for indirect loss, consequential damages or operating loss, including lost profit or data, arising in connection with the use of, or lack of access to, the service.
8. Term and termination
The agreement runs until terminated. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account in the event of a breach of these terms, or conduct harmful to other users, to us or to third parties. The terms for the customer’s termination follow from the plan chosen.
9. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any dispute shall be settled by the Danish courts, with the City Court of Aarhus as the venue.
10. Changes to the terms
We may change these terms. Material changes are notified by publishing the updated terms on this page and updating the date of last update. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
