At Doclane we take your privacy seriously. This privacy policy explains which personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. Our service and our entire technology stack are hosted in the EU, and your data never leaves Europe.
The data controller for the processing of your personal data is:
We collect only the data necessary to deliver and improve the service:
| Category | Data |
|---|---|
| Account and contact data | Name, email, phone number and company, when you enter into an agreement, contact us or use the service. |
| Document data | The content of the documents a customer sends for processing (orders, invoices, claims etc.), processed in order to create records in Business Central. We process this data as a processor on the customer's behalf. |
| Usage and technical data | IP address, browser type, device and how you use the site, collected via analytics and lead tools (see sections 4 and 5 and the cookie policy). |
We process your data for the following purposes:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Delivery of the service | Performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Support and communication | Contract / legitimate interest |
| Analytics, site improvement and B2B lead identification | Legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)), see section 5 |
| Compliance with legal requirements | Legal obligation (e.g. accounting and tax law) |
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with the suppliers who help us run the service, and all of them process data within the EU:
| Supplier | Purpose | Region |
|---|---|---|
| Hetzner | Hosting and infrastructure | EU |
| Mistral | AI models for document understanding | EU |
| Plausible | Privacy-friendly web analytics (no cookies) | EU |
| Leadfeeder | B2B company identification on the site | EU |
| AhaSend | Transactional email | EU |
| Proton | Email, calendar, online meetings, internal documents and password manager | EU |
An up-to-date list of our sub-processors is available at sub-processors.
We use Leadfeeder to recognise which companies visit doclane.ai, so that we can follow up appropriately in a B2B context. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in marketing a business service, and companies are identified, not individuals.
You can opt out of Leadfeeder tracking at any time here: leadfeeder.com/opt-out.
We retain your data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Contact and account data is retained for as long as the customer relationship lasts, and is then deleted unless legislation (e.g. accounting law) requires longer retention. Document data is retained as agreed with the customer and deleted when it is no longer necessary for the processing.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including encryption in transit, access control and logging. All infrastructure is hosted in the EU.
We do not transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA. Our entire technology stack is located in Europe.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the following rights:
You may withdraw a consent at any time. To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@doclane.ai. You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk) or with the supervisory authority in your own country.
The site uses cookies and similar technologies. Read more in our cookie policy.
We may update this privacy policy. The version in force at any given time is available on this page, stating the date of the most recent update.
