At Doclane we take your privacy seriously. This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and what rights you have. Our service and our entire technology stack are hosted in the EU, and your data never leaves Europe.

| Usage and technical data | IP address, browser type, device and how you use the site, collected through analytics and lead tools (see sections 4 and 5 and the cookie policy). |
3. Purposes and legal basis
We process your information for the following purposes:

| Delivery of the service | Performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) |

5. Leadfeeder and legitimate interest
We use Leadfeeder to recognise which companies visit doclane.ai, so that we can follow up appropriately in a B2B context. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in marketing a business service, and it identifies companies, not individuals.
You can opt out of Leadfeeder tracking at any time here: leadfeeder.com/opt-out.
6. Retention
We keep your information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Contact and account details are kept for as long as the customer relationship lasts and are then deleted, unless legislation (for example accounting law) requires longer retention. Document data is retained as agreed with the customer and deleted when it is no longer needed for the processing.
7. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including encryption in transit, access control and logging. All infrastructure is hosted in the EU.
8. Transfers to third countries
We do not transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA. Our entire technology stack is located in Europe.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the following rights:
- Right of access: to obtain a copy of the personal data we process about you.
- Right to rectification: to have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected.
- Right to erasure: to have your personal data deleted (“the right to be forgotten”).
